Hello All, I’m new to the fourm and need a little guidence.
I have an old cabinet, veneered with hide glue, and was wondering the
best way to re-apply the pealing veneer drawer front.
The drawer front is 6″ x 9″ and in the upper right corner the veneer is pealing. It goes across the top about 4″ and down the side roughly 2″.
There are about five drawers to fix and most are in worst condition.
All thoughts and advise appreciated
Thanks Jody

Cautiously try a clothes iron with the steam part off. Put some tin foil between the veneer and the iron.

Am I adding any additional glue?
The glue alredy there will soften and become tacky again.
