Hello, new here. I have a customer who paid me to refinish her high end Berman Rosette coffee table.
Got some oil stain custum matched at Sherwin. I think it turned out pretty good.
Now I’m trying to match the finish without buying a bunch of different brands. It’s like a high gloss maybe? I can almost see myself in the gloss.
Thoughts? Thanks friends.

Willygmcd you've gotten no replies in a few days. I think it's because you are asking what seems like a simple question, but actually is a problem that even very experienced finishers have difficulty with. There's a lot about equipment and polishing and other technique issues that are hard to impart in a few words in a forum like this. My only suggestion is to get some finishing books to research techniques. Adding that I think almost all modern commercial finishes are lacquer, but of a formulation and application suitable for industrial operations, that is, hard to duplicate in the shop.
Can you go back to your Sherwin store? They may be able to continue helping you.
I agree that a 2-part lacquer is a great table finish. For those of us not equipped to work with those chemicals in a spraying scenario things like General Finishes ARS or shop made varnish blend can work well.
The ability to get a mirror-like, but not glassy, finish relies on good surface prep, a good film thickness, and the process of polishing that film if required. When a client wants a glossy finish I tend to go for enough gloss that I can see an object reflected but, not so clearly that I would call it a mirror.
The pic is an oil varnish blend with a gloss poly as the varnish.
Exactly what I was looking for on your Pic, thanks. I am set up and experienced with spraying so no problem there.
If I remember I will post pics when finished
