There is a fellow in England who has a small foundry that makes bronze logo medallions to fasten to projects. His name is Vidi. I ordered some from him several years ago, but now I have run out of them. The computer I had at that time crashed and I have lost his website and email. Does anyone have it. I would like to place another order.

Makers Marks medallions
Ken
I placed two orders with Vidi via his web site. First I will say that I was happy with the markers I eventually recieved and the first order arrived as expected and roughly on time. Getting the second order proved to be quite a bit more difficult. I ordered the markers about two years ago and it took at least six months of calls, e-mails, etc. before I finally got the markers. Vidi was very uncommunicative through the whole process and I don't think I would order from him again. If I did it would be with the expectation that it was a gamble and that I might not get anything in return for whatever money I sent.
I also note that the web site, http://www.makers-marks.co.uk, is now blocked by my browser/security software as being a known attack page. Not sure what to make of that. I would have suspected they are out of business but I noted last night that there is an add for the firm in the latest issue of FWW.
Hope that helps and sorry I don't know of any alternatives.

Ken,
If you can't contact Vidi, you might try:
wemakecoins.com
or
coinable.com,
I also ordered from vidi a few years ago, he mixed up the order and i got someones and they got mine. took at least 6 months of screwing around. I would not order from him again and would suggest that you ask a trophy shop in your town for a price, that's what I have come up with and the price wasn't any worse than vidi.
Thanks for the suggestion - a trophy shop is a good idea.
Chris
