Hi All, the handle is actually the Russian word for vacuum tube. I do restoration and building of hi-fi and instrument amplifiers as well as hand made instruments. (everyone always asks!)
So here is my problem I am restoring a Boice Crane model 2300 14″ band saw and have no idea what the correct size blade is. I can’t get any help locally, so I’m hoping I will have luck with actual woodworkers who may own one. The saw has an adjustment guide on the outside of the saw for the different size blades and the “appropriate” tension for each size. At mid adjustment I come up with a 99 inch measurement which while is not from another planet, is not your standard Delta size. This is all the salesmen seem to know anything about. The place that usually makes my cutters and blades does not have an answer except for the one I have given you. I would like to use the size blade the machine was designed to use, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
All the best to you and yours,
Mark

Thanks to all who were kind enough to email me with Timberwolf's info. It turns out I was right on the money with the blade size, which is 99".
