Hey All,
I have put together a cabinet humidor. The cabinet is frameless. The wall thickness is 1 1/4 inch thick and I need hinges that the door will cover the whole frame.
Which hinges (and size) do I need? I can’t find anything that is working, right now.
The cabinet is made from MDF and lined with cedar wood.
If you have any questions or suggestions that can help me, please respond as I am in a jam and need this ASAP.
Thanks,
Dvir

hinge decisions
The key factors to consider are the size and weight of the door. Also, considering how poorly MDF holds fasteners, you'll want to spread the load over as many screws as you can.
In my mind, that suggests the use of a full-length piano hinge, properly morticed into the cabinet, the door, or both.
