Hello all,
does anyone have knowledge of the grizz 15″ planer, G4053 or something like that.
Planer chips get imbedded in the stock, both oak and poplar, and it also still leaves groves from the pressure feed rollers? Im using a 2 hp dc, with good solid pipe runs about 15 feet from machine.
Does anyone else have or had this issue, and what did you do? I tried adjusting the rollers pressure, it helps some, but does not alleviate it. Am i expecting too much, and just have to do a final clean up?
thanks a lot

I have the 15" grizzly and no problems that way. My dc is only 1 1/2 hp about 20' of pipe to dc. Maybe your feed rolls have too much pressure. Easy to adjust. The only complaint I have with the planer is you have to half disasemble it to change the blades useing planer pals knife setters.
