That's planers and yes I have worked on them but I'm in New Eng. You could look at http://www.owwm.com or try contacting machinery dealers in your area for real tech help.
RICK

I would contact local machine dealers for tech help or as someone said contact some local cabinet shops. I don't work for free either. That super deal can turn into a money pit if you don't know what you are doing. Rule of thumb is if you don't know know all the potentials and pitfalls it's best to buy new or from a dealer.

Typical is to pay time to and from service center and milage, not to mention time on site so it's not something most folks are familiar with. Rates can go from $30 to $80 depending on the area.
I PAYED THE GUY RICK
HE KNOWS MORE THAN I BUT THANKS FOR THE ADVICE
You need to get on the OWWM forum. You can ask questions and there are plenty of people there who will be able to help. Be sure to turn off your CAPS key.Pete
I have a 24" cresant/delta planer with a 7.5 h.p. motor with the 4 qty gear driven feed/drive rollers & i did find the manual & parts list on the oww site, you mite try searching delta models too due to both companies sold the same machine under thier names
Are you suggesting that you think the planer may have had something to do with your friend's disappearance? I think you need CSI or maybe Mulder & Scully from the X-files! ;-)
SAMSON
TEN THOUSAND COMICS OUT OF WORK AND YOUR TRYING TO BE ONE
ON A SERIOUS NOTE NO HE BAILED AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THE TOP END GOES BACK TOGETHER
Any reason you yell, (using all caps), all the time?
THis suggestion is liable to cost you quite a few bucks, but you can use it as a last resort. Call around to any cabinet shops or hardwood dealers (big dealers with warehouses and milling machines) and find out who services their machines. Chances are they'll know someone who can help you.
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

This is on the OWWM web site. It's for a Crescent Variable Speed Planer. Go down the page, there seems to be additional links that may be of some help.
