Nah they don’t ever look at that. That has been proven over and over. I have had the most help just letting the “moderator” see comments here in the “heat of battle”. Funny. Right after I whined it seemed to stop being a problem. I was even able to go back and put “.”s in where my messed up post was that I , up until I started another duplicate post, could not change. It’s a whacky little cyber world in here isn’t it ? Think of it like piloting the Mississippi with one of them Mark Twain paddle steamers. The bottom is constantly shifting and changing and ya gotta learn to read the river. : )
ha ha ha this triggered the spam filter so I started a new thread to post this
excellent, excellent
Fascinating . . . after messing with this for ever and ever to get it to post I found that if I put several “?” after the “Feed back” that it would touch off the spam filter.
I could have entered it in the sharpening thread without “?”s but I am all worn out now and will just leave it here.

I don't think anyone actively "moderates" the forum, so I'm guessing that random complaints within posts are generally unread. Often, e-mails don't get responses, either. Perhaps the editorial staff is as frustrated as we are, and don't have any sway over the IT staff. The "tail" definitely appears to be wagging the dog here.

The lights are mostly on but no ones home .
It must cost to keep it as is ,,, for Taunton to not at least work with what they do have seems an even a bigger waste of this forum and if the cost of having it is a concern to them in this economy either tweak it or do nothing some more .

"do nothing some more" - that appears to be the strategy. The irony, of course, is that continuing to do nothing also continues to erode the reputation of a once-fine magazine, and thus, Taunton itself. As the reputation as a resource erodes, so does the subscriber base, further exacerbating the financial issues.
