There was an article in Fine Woodworking submitted by a reader about an alternative method to generate the profile for the gooseneck moldings on the highboy featured in issues 117 thru 119. I can’t remember which issue the article was in. Hopefully someone will recall the article and which issue it was in.

I don't recall seeing a readers reply on how to make the molding, but in issue 130 ( June 1998) there is a article about this. It is by Jeffery Greene, and starts on page 110. This is more or less the method I use, and it is quick and easy.
