I have made raised panels for interior shutters (8-3/4″ x 27″ea x 4 per window) but haven’t been able to locate suitable hinges. I’m looking for the type that separates by lifting one panel up. I have seen these on wooden louvered shutters that I purchased many years ago. Any help would be appreciated

Lee Valley (http://www.leevalley.com) and Van Dykes (http://www.vandykes.com) have them. They call 'em lift-off hinges.
Just checked those sources, that's what I was looking for! Thanks for responding.
