Just thought I would try and light a fire under the taunton presses feet in an attempt to get all of the articles from the Home Furniture Magazine republished into a book. This magazine was so fantastic that it would be a shame to not let them see the light of day again. Not only that I’m also tired of being outbid on what small number of them that come up for auction on e-bay.
Anyways send me a reply and lets see if we can’t turn this small fire into a blazing inferno!! Marshmallows anyone?

Great idea! I have 8 issues out of the 14 total, with little hope of completing my collection. Rick
I sent them a couple of email's about this. A couple of years ago, I spent close to $200 putting together a complete collection of the magazine via ebay. When I get them out, they get treated like sacred tomes! In my email, I expressed my opinion that the high price these magazines went for indicated a pent up demand. I never got a response.
For those who do not have all 14 issues, or any, it would be an excellent library addition. I have all 14 and get inspiration and ideas every time they come off the shelf. To to bad they had to suspend publication. They should incorporate the Home Furniture format in some editions of F.W.
Maybe I should sell mine!!! What am I bid???
Back before Christmas, Taunton still had a few select issues in their backorder dept. My Wife got me 8 issues, nowhere near a complete set. It would be worth a call to their customer service number to see if they still had any.
ABSOLUTLEY!!!
I had most of those issues. I made the great mistake of giving them to a prospective client to puruse for ideas for a piece I would make.
I never made the piece but worse-she missplaced the magazines.-She thinks she returned them but no way....I grown evertime I think of those issues. I heartily endores the republication idea.....
BTW ...No publications ever leave my posesstion since,....

Hey Russell,
I whole heartily agree with your suggestion. I had the privilege of being one of the authors in the first issue. That magazine was started because of an overwhelming response that Taunton got from a call for entries for one of their design books. I think it would bring it full circle to finally put it into book form.
Cheers,
-Paul
