Had a friend who had lost his rip fence. Here is a remedy. Just three pieces of wood and a couple of “C” clamps. I’m out of space here, so I’ll post in a seperate post to follow.

"I'm out of space here, so I'll post in a seperate post to follow." Not sure I understand that, WhiteDog... is that "photo space"?? The allotment for photo's is per user, not per thread.
He "lost" his rip fence????

Wellll, at least he didn't lose his creek! ;-)forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Losing a rip fence isn't so unusual. When Amazon ran a super special on the Delta T-3 fence, I bought one and adapted it to my 9" Delta contractor saw. (I don't have room for anything bigger.) When I finished, the fence whispered, "You put me on a contractor saw? First Unisaw in the neighborhood, and I'm outta here!" ;-)
Here is the fence I'm talking about:
Seems like a reasonable substitute, and when you need a fence, you need a fence! I'd want to be sure the far end didn't lift up after fence is clamped (might allow a thin piece to go under the fence).
Looks like you got the picture thing down, WhiteDog. That one's composed well and a perfect file size!

When I tried earlier today, I posted the text part first, Then the picture. A "pie chart" came up to show how much I had left for a picture. Picture did not fit. This time, I loaded the picture first, and You see the result. Fence was for a bench top style saw that lost it's factory fence during a move. The saw's owner built a version of this for his saw. He loved it. He might even keep it as a permament fence. It took maybe a half hour to design and build, alignment is done as it is built. Since his saw has no back rail, this works. Just three pieces of scrap wood and a couple of c clamps on the front rail. Hey, it works.
