Homemade Router Table Info Required
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know if the article which appeared in Fine Woodworking by Matthew Kenney on May 18th 2010 was ever followed up with plans on how to make the router table?
Thanks to anyone who can advise
Clive

Rouer Table
There is an 8 part video series here on the FWW website of Matt making the router table and the Taunton Store sells a set of plans by Matt to build a router table.
Hello Mike
Thank you for your reply, is there any way I can see a video of the table in operation before purchasing the plans, also what is the price for them?
Thanks again
Clive
The video I mentioned is of Matt Kenney building the router table. It's at least an hour long - maybe even two hours. You can find it right here on Fine Woodworking dot com. I haven't watched it but I'll bet it shows Matt using the router table.
The plans are over at a different website. It's TAUNTONSTORE.COM. Not sure what they charge for them these days.

As you suggested, I’ve just looked on finewoodworking.com and the only video I could see is Matt kenney Build a Router Table, unfortunately it’s not the same table its more like a unit on castors with built in draws.
It may well be, there never was a follow up, however I’ll get an email off to Fine Woodworking and see what they have to say.
My bad! I see now that the video I'm referencing is from 2012 and not from 2010 as you requested.
Like you, I'm not able to find any info on Matt's router table from 2010.

That is actually a horizontal RT. Plans were available back in 2013. The thread is here:
https://www.finewoodworking.com/2010/05/18/homemade-horizontal-router-table
The quote about the plans being ready is near the bottom:
"The plans and operating manual are up on the web site at http://www.HRTProject.com and there are links to videos as well. Plans have been sent to six countries so far."
However, that link no longer works. You could try to contact Matt directly through FWW.
