Has anyone ever successfully made a tablesaw fence that works as well or better than commercially available after-market fences? If so, could you describe it briefly? Are there any articles on the subject I should know about?

I made one based on plans I found in FWW.
I made a few changes, The biggest one was having it slide on router bearings.
I wouldn't trade it for any fence that I've used so far, and I've probably tried them all.
Try doing a search. I'd give you the issue #, however I lent it out to a 'friend' a couple years ago and never got it back.
