How big a shaper for these cutters?
THese cutters i picked up with an old Moak wood shaper. The shaper appears to have been using these cutters, but its only a 3hp, with a 1 1/4″ arbor. Hopefully you can see from the picture that i tried to attach to this how big they really are. Does anybody out there have experience with these types of cutters? They are made by “Line Berry”. Does anyone know this name? The shaper was bought in Grand Rapids Mich, so it probably has to do with the furniture industry. ANy ebay people have any idea what i could sell some of these for? I have a set of rail and stile cutters with a panel raising bit bigger than you can believe!!
Help?

The cutters Look to be about 5.5 in dia . I don't see anthing unusual about them.Maybe i am missing something but they look like normal carbide tipped cutters .With 3 hp you may find that you need a couple of passes to take heavy cuts .We run 8 " tenon knives without problems It's feed rate , rpm, and size of cut that you have to watch.
