Pattern bits make it easy to form a MATCHING shape – convex or concave. But how do I make a MATING shape to a concave arc?
I’ve maximized my puzzlement with no solution. Help!

My puzzlement is maxed out, too.
Is this a joinery question?
Your question is not specific enough to get a short answer. Could you share more information? Are you trying to grind shaper cutters? What angle do they mount in the holder, etc.
What are you trying to do, or make" ?
Drawings or photos would be nice.
Jfrostir,
Go to the skills and techniques section and search for Cutting Matching Curves. You'll find an article by that title by Carol Kobbeman from the Oct. 2005 issue. It describes in detail how to do what youi want. I believe there's still a video on file that shows the process. Hope that helps.
