I’ve heard others here say they don’t get e-mail notifications when someone responds to one of their posts. Me too. Is there a way to find out if one has any responses? -jonnieboy

This morning I got my first notification of a response to one of my posts. I've been trying to get this to work for weeks, and I did nothing new yesterday, so I can't explain it at all. Maybe cyber elves were working at night...
I should also add that you should check the spam blocker on your e-mail. I had to add a new address for the notifications to come through. Of course this is in addition to editing your profile to authorize the notification.
Steve,
Good thought about the spam blocker. I'll do that.
I did get notice of your response, so things are going in the right direction.

I tried to edit E-mail notifications in my profile. A box comes up telling me my E-mail is already in use, by me, duh! By clicking on "activity" I'm able to see anything I have responded to. I also click on the box at the end of a reply but it doesn't seem to be working for me. Interesting that your profile has every post you made since joining but no pictures.
"...every post since joining"
Frightening.
I'm not sure what you mean about the pictures. Any pictures I would have posted along the way are 'gone?'

Bad wording on my part. I didn't mean "you" as in you jonnieboy. The "activity" box in our profiles shows every post or reply a member has made. If there were any pictures uploaded in past posts or replies, the pictures are no longer there but the text of the messages still is. If I wanted to answer a question and refer the person to some pictures I had put up, I can't. At this time, folks don't seem to be able to post a picture in a reply to a question, nor can they send the poster to a previous post where pictures were uploaded in the past. Just a quirk with the new forum format.
Thanks!
This function, in my eyes,, is just like a lazy employee. It works when it wants to. Some days, I'll get notification. For the last four days, I haven't gotten any.
Jeff
Ugh, I long for the old system.
