Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me how to flatten an oil stone? Mine has a hollow, and I would like to flatten it to make it functional once again.

You can rub it on a silicon carbide paper. Start with very coarse and place the paper on something dead flat.
I bought a job lot of old [good] stones and flattened them easily with a real cheap oil stone by simply rubbing them together with a light oil lubricant.
