I am just curious what you all might think this table is worth. It’s 4’x8′ with a Cherry veneer top and Walnut edging and about 10 coats of wiped on poly?? Would 5k-6k be too much?
Thoughts,
Thanks,
Ron

If you are doing all the work (base, tile, install) then I would take the job at that price. It isn't a very technically challenging piece, the venner work and the finnish will be what stands out. Unless you are set on using poly I might recomend Shellac or precat. The poly will yellow with age dulling the clairity of the veneer. Not to mention that 10 coats of poly is my idea of a nightmare. In fact I would charge more if I had to use poly. It looks like a good job to me.
Pardon my spelling,
Mike
Make sure that your next project is beyond your skill and requires tools you don't have. You won't regret it.
