I’m not sure what you are talking about – you’re pictures are there. The ylook mighty good. What types of wood did you use?

Yes your pics are there and they are fascinating. Hope you'll go into some detail about the cameras. Apparently you're a professional photographer besides being a heck of a woodworker. BTW I share your frustration at posting pics on this site. I tried once and gave up.

Hi Jim, Well I'm glad to hear they worked! The camera is made of primarily of cocobolo and maple along with ebony for all the smaller details. I turned most of the brass bits from hose connections I bought at the plunbing store. Well if they worked I'm going to transfer them to the Gallery and delete them from this section and I 'll include a bit about how it was made their, thanks for your input ..wish me luck here goes, L
Hi, Would you fill me in on how to post a pic please? I'm at a complete loss as to how to do it. Thanks, Brian
Brian, I noticed you asked twice about how to post a picture, and no one really answered your question (unless they did so in yet another place).
When you're typing in your post or response, look way at the bottom of the page -- there are 5 orange button, including the "Post" and "Preview" buttons. One of the buttons says "Attach Files." That's the one you click on, then follow the instructions. The file name needs to have the complete path in it, so it's often easier just to click the Browse button, find the file and double-click on it. Take your time, give the file time to upload.
NOTE: I think you have to be in "Advanced View" to get the Attach Files button.
Another NOTE (pet peeve): IMO, it's best to keep your attachments under 50 or so Kb. Most of us are still using 56K modems, and anything over about 75 Kb is a drag to wait for.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Thanks Jamie, Here goes....If I was successful your seeing my entry in the most trashed shop "competition". It's also a "before" picture. I have just about completly gutted the garage, built a second side bench, and had a friend install a dedicated 220 line to the TS (after converting it from 110),. He also put in seven additional duplexes and four fourplexes throughout the shop! I can just about throw a plug and it will find a recepticle. Went with the 12 Ga. for the 110 lines and 10Ga. for the 220. Overkill? ...Ya. GFIs at the beginning of each line of recepticles. He comes back tomorrow night to complete the hookups to the new breakers. I'm jazzed! Will then be able to put the shop together the way I've been dreaming about. Now if that darn video from veritas would just get here, I can decide on the router table. I just ordered the 3 1/4 HP milwaukee for it.
Thanks everyone for your help and patience. Brian
One more time...
Oooooh, Brian, too, too, too Big! File size is almost 1MB. 100KB or less, preferably 60kb or less.
OK, sometime back, I answered a Knothead's email with detailed info on keeping pics small. I'll go find it and send a copy.
[Edit]: OK, here's a copy of the email I sent him. LMK if you have other questions.

I got an email from Brian asking for help. Sent him more details via response, but here am posting an edited version of his pic so y'all can see it.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Brian,
Where is the shop? All I see is tools.
Jon
Hi Jon, Organized I'm not! Believe it or "knot" I do manage to get a project completed occasionally. This is very much a "before" picture. Having some electrical added (converted the TS over to 220 also). Will post a pic when completed. That is if I ever figure out how to post a decent pic. If It wasn't for Jamie, that one wouldn't be there. Later! Brian
hi brian I see you got your answer...just make sure when you scan your pictures onto the computer, you scan them onto your desktop as a JPEG on my systeem it's found under "export files as" but I'm running a Mac so things are a little different. Hope this helps. Larry
Thanks, I'm a bit lost but scratching my way through it with alot of help from my knothead friends! I check JPEG in file types after double clicking the file I want to upload?
Hi Brian, I place the photo I want to upload on to my desktop first then go to the knots attatchments button on the bottom of your posting page. click on that and it'll open up on to the upload page. hit the browse button and it should open up to your desktop page where you can choose the photo you wish to load up.. follow the insructions and it should work. good luck, l
Another thing to remember is to keep the image as RGB and not CMYK. I posted some pics a while back and the images were CMYK and either people couldn't get them or if they could see them, they were all funky. I live in the print world, computers live in the RGB world.
