I want to build a covered platform bird feeder with a hexagonal-shaped roof. There would be an opening in the top center for filling a large seed tube, and the six roof panels will flare out to cover a sheltered platform eating area. I’m not sure how to calculate the angle where each roof board meets its neighbor. Any tips on how to determine the angle that each board edge needs to be? Or perhaps a plan already exists for such a project?
