how to choose reliable motor?

Hi,
I hope I posted in the right place.
Well, I need your advice about the motors.
I will buy a new motor for the table saw. Which brands do you prefer? what brands are better to avoid?
And please help me with the specs.

Baldor is a good brand. You don't mention what saw. If it is a quality motor you might just have it rewound at your local motor shop it will be as good or better than new.
