How to create a table top with one surface curved
I would like to make a tabletop with a flat upper surface but with a rounded bottom surface much like the nightstand shown here. Is there a jig that will let me do that?
Thanks

The jig you seek is called a hand plane.
You can make a router sled to move back and forth across the panel to rough out the shape, but it will take some planning and testing. Alternatively you could rough cut the shape on a bandsaw, glue the pieces together, and then smooth. Or you could subcontract a cnc router. All in all, planing the curve might be as time effective for a small "one off" project.
