How to fix a split in an Oak cabinet Stile
I have an Oak stile with a 3 inch split at the end of the board. The split is on the face side and does not go all the way through. I’m looking for suggestions on the best way to fix it. I’ve seen info on low viscosity CA glues which are supposed to wick into cracks and was thinking of trying that. I’ve also got a 23 ga pinner and was going to just clamp it tight and pin it.

It's not finished or attached yet. Should probably apply the glue to the top edge which won't be visible when installed so any glue stains won't matter. I'll be staining and applying poly and I wouldn't want any discoloration.
should have probably made extra pieces from the start.
Split
If it's the type of split that has spring to it when you force it closed - gluing may not hold it together indefinitely -
I would use an epoxy to be sure of the holding power and possibly mix some saw dust from the actual board into the glue and get the glue down into the bottom of the split and overfill the split to be sanded back flush

put a slip in
Just put a small saw cut in it to put a slip of material in. end of problem.

saw cut
Yep, that the way to do it.
put a slip in
Make sure the grain of the material matches and is in the same direction as the stile.if you do it right it will disappear and be the strongest solution.
I would make a replacement piece since at least you don't have things to take apart. Boards that just split usually have some sort of drying defect and may never be right.
