Hello,
We have an expensive Amish solid oak dinning room table and chair set. Today something (perhaps a hot bowl) left a semi-circle mark on the table. It’s not the “foggy” appearance from water marks. It left a bunch of small raised bubbles in the surface of the finish.
Is there any way to repair this? See attached image.
Thank you in advance!

You mentioned Amish and expensive, but did not say antique. If you bought from a Community workshop you should contact them to ask what finish was used and whether it is repair friendly.
Thanks @_MJ_. I will try to find out where we bought the table.
