One of the confusing aspects of posting a picture in this forum is that there's no feedback while the picture is being loaded. After you click LOAD, wait patiently until you see a message at the top of the screen indicating that the picture is loaded. It's a waiting game because there are no indicators.
You should also resize your pictures before you post them so they can be seen without scrolling all over. I usually go to 50%. Finally, use jpg format instead of bmp. Jpg files are much smaller and therefore load faster.
Thanks a lot I'll give it a try tomarrow
Following up on Dave's recommendation to resize pictures, what's really important to us primitive dial-up folks is that the file size not be too big, taking forever to load. You should easily be able to get down to a file size below 75Kb. When I get DSL, I'll stop griping about this, LOL!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
i'll work on that. this was first time I tried to attach a file to knots
See forestgirl, size DOES matter - lol. Get the DSL as soon as you can........I've had DSL for over a year now and can't imagine going back to a dialup.
