Anyone own the HTC tablesaw fence?
Where did you purchase it, if so? Price?
What are your thoughts?
Comparison to others?
The micro-adjuster feature appears to make it worthwhile over the biesmeyer fence…

Hey Jose,
I own the Brett-Guard fence system (manufactured by HTC) and it's a beaut.
Purchased it direct from them.
Price? Don't remember exactly but in the $7oo to $900 range.
I looked at the Biesmeyer. Liked their stop better, but not enough to overcome the heavier construction of the Brett-Guard.
It also has the coveted splitters.
What really pushed me over the edge is that OSHA has actually approved the Brett-Guard ... something they have not done for any other table saw guarding system.

Benjamin.
HTC Commercial Multi-Fence with 50" rails is $400 at Woodcraft. (That's not much more than a Biesmeyer which lacks micro-adjustment.) Woodworker's Supply wants $460 for the Brett Guard, plus another $90 for support brackets of you've got a Jet. So you're right in the ball park on the price. Nice system, but lots of $$$. Too bad it's made in Singapore.
Jeff
The Brett-Guard and HTC's new multi-fence are BOTH made in Royal Oak, Michigan. I've been to their plant several times and they make it right there!
BenjaminIf it ain't American --- it's junk!
Benjamin,
I know they are, but I couldn't resist.
