Hello everyone. I’m a total newcomer to woodworking and home repairs in general. I have a quality rosewood veneer Davidoff humidor which I dropped a year or two ago resulting in two severely damaged (bashed in) corners but no functional harm. I ‘m wondering whether a novice might be able to repair this type of cosmetic damage or is likely to do more harm than good.
While I have zero experience and virtually no tools, I do have plenty of time and patience and am hoping someone who is familiar with this type of work can tell me if I’d be crazy to attempt this project, and if not where to begin and what expenses I should expect. My goal would be to return the humidor to mint condition, or close to it.
Thanks. Steve

Can you post pictures of the humidor and the damaged corners?
One approach might be to simply hide the damage by adding a base frame that the humidor would sit inside. (Assuming the damaged corners are on the bottom.
That's another good approach. Don't forget the little felt dots on the bottom to raise those brass corners off the surface.
