I’m shopping for an hvlp gun to match my compressor but I know nothing about spraying yet. Are any extra parts neede between the gun and compressor in addition to the hose?

Jake; Are you planning to get a siphon, gravity, or pressure pot spray gun? Will you be spraying one type of fluid only or a variety? Does your compressor have an oil and water filter (is it oil lubricated)? How much air, in CFM, does you compressor supply at 50PSI? Does your compressor have an accurate air gauge on the supply line?
