I’m need to replace my HVLP system (TurbinAire), which went out of business a few years ago. So, I seeing what is the best or highly recommended one. I spray mostly water based poly and lacquer (Target Coatings). Need some info, please. And Thank You for any help/recommendations. I’m not a professional, only build furniture as a hobby.

I have a Fuji 4 stage. I've done shellac, water-based poly, precat, and latex paint. I'm very happy with it.
The 4 stage seemed more capable than the 3, especially for latex. The 5 was only a small step up, and didn't seem worth the extra money.
The turbine generally is not as important as the gun in my opinion, as long as it's durable, but if you are a hobbyist with light to moderate use any of the name brand turbines will probably surfice as long as it is at least 3 stage, but 4 or 5 is better. I recently purchased an Apollo Precision 5 LTE to replace my 25 year old Lexaire and could not be happier, it's quiet, has plenty of power, works with non-bleeder type guns, a most for me, and has a 5 year warranty. I realize this is overkill for most hobbyist but the entire Apollo line generally gets great reviews. What really sets the Apollo line apart is their 7700 series gun which I think is probably one of the best I've used. The 7700 series can be just about any type of gun you desire. Pressure cup, Gravity Feed, Bleeder, non-bleeder, turbine or compressed air all from the same basic gun handle. It's adjustments are incredible and has a complete set of needles and air caps to spray anything from water based dyes to latex emulsion paint and do it all well. I can't recommend it enough.
Could I keep using my Turbinaire, basically the gun is fine, but gaskets are non existent, hose is shot. TurbinAire uses a bleeder gun. So a new gun is for sure. What’s your opinion on what to do? I think the unit is a 3 stage. Thank You for your help, I appreciate it! Turbinaire 1235 model
Turbinaire model 1235, gun bleeder and can’t find gaskets, hose is broken in spots(plastic tears, holes). Turbine works fine, I think it’s a three stage. Hol new rig?
If your turbine is fine and a 3 stage you can just get the Apollo 7700 gun, a new hose, and an external pressure release valve and you would probably be very happy. While you can use the 7700 as a bleeder type gun I strongly recommend getting the pressure release valve and using it as a non-bleeder. Your investment probably would be about $400 if you went this way. Apollo also makes a 5500 series which are bleeder type guns I just have no experience with it.
