I'm not sure how closely this forum is monitored by Taunton customer service...
I don't work for Taunton, but I think you may have better luck with your question if you posted it here:
http://customerservice.taunton.com/taunton/_cs/QuestionAsk.aspx
And then again for ALL to see! Never had a problem with them on my side. But I may have soon.. I 'think' they Auto-Bill you for things.. I no longer have that credit-card!.. I'll wait and see what happens!
Dear Charnwood,
Sorry to hear about your troubles. If you email me your specific customer info (reply through my profile or by replying to this message directly to me via email), I can forward it directly to customer service so we can quickly get to the bottom of this issue.
Please send your: Name, Address, Phone, Email, Customer Number (it should be printed on your mag. subscription, if you can’t find it, I’m sure CS can look it up based on the other info you send.)
Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Charnwood:
Gina will help you get to the bottom of this so you can rest well.
I wanted to add one thing... Based on the amount of your bill I think you signed up for a magazine subscription. For one thing, the web membership is only available as a one year or one month subscription. The magazine meanwhile can be purchased as a three year subscription.
But still things don't add up, because according to our magazine subscription order form, the three-year magazine sub only costs $83.95.

Like I said, work with Gina and we'll have this resolved for you.

Thank you for your reply I pay $104 .94 for three years subscription as I am a United Kingdom subscriber I have been a subscriber for 7 years and I not had a single problem until this issue with renewing
My frustration was caused by
(1) The time spent writing a number of emails which appear to have disappeared into the ether
(2) More importantly not having the magazine to read. I am a sad sole who has each years copies of magazine hardback bound ( father in law binds magazines at evening classes)

FWW seems to be behind on rather simple information access. Rather than calling Customer Service each time, a subscriber/member should be able to:
1. Easily access his/her order history and expiration dates.
2. Change to/from automatic renewal.
There is a one-time cost for FWW to provide this on its website; however, it would likely save a lot of expense in Customer Service telephone and email time and money.
Talk about being behind. This is a 12 year old thread.
