I am trying to help a friends widow, after 50+ years in the furniture making trade my friend and mentor passed last New Years Eve. If you guys are like him or the rest of us, your spouse has not a clue what you have in your shop or what it is worth. So I am posting a few of the items he (I am for her) has for sale hoping I will be able to get the vivid memories of him being there daily out of her view.
There are 2- 3hp grizzly shapers with stile and rail cutters, a 10″ Rockwell table saw hp, a jet 6″ jointer, a jet 6 X 80 horizontal sander, woodtec 2hp dust collector, craftsman radial arm saw, Rockwell lathe, delta shaper/router, 5hp single phase 80gal horizontal air compressor, 4 or 5 spray guns, makita/porter cable, dewalt sanders and routers, a delta wall mounted biscuit cutter, bar and C clamps, 4″ and 2″ spring clamps, shop fans, and just a lot of tools he has collected through the years.
These items are forsale at very reasonable prices but not give away prices. there is also a Grizzly 1066 24″ two drum sander that has been used but 3 times……$500.00
We are located in Central Texas, near Waco and if there is the possibility of delivery of larger equipment if more than one item is purchased. Fellas, will sell the 2 shapers, table saw, horizontal sander, jointer and dustcollector for $2200.00 and will deliver if you pay for the fuel. Reasonable distant please.
This is good equipment for someone who just wants to add on or even a beginner with a tight budget. Thanks..

You might put this in the "classified" section as well, might be seen by a few more people their.
Maybe a more detailed list with a price for each item would help. Just a suggestion.

My Mom was faced with a somewhat similar situation after my Dad died in '97. He had a small bulldozer and some other tools, equipment, and machinery. A local auction house helped her figure out the value of the stuff and sold it all at an auction.
