I know this would never happen to you!
I have a Ridgid TS3650 on casters. The lift is nice and very easy to use.
I have a shop built router table to the right of the cast iron table. The router is encased in a wooden box that makes a effective vacuum chamber for dust removal.
The router is centered in a trision box made of 2X4 hickory and the box is made of 3/4 inch plywood (what I had around). Well, more than a little weight out there.
I had the saw up on the casters… Yes, I did have a tool box on top of the router table (about 40 pounds?)!
Well, to make a long story short. I was going to move the saw and guess what happened? The saw tipped to the right and came to a stop when router vacuum box hit the cement floor! …..DANG!….. Knocked router table out of alignment but no damage to the fence rails. I checked and still true..
I guess I’m gettin’ to old for woodworking!

Shish Will, you're right. I would'nt do something like that. I did however try to walk my old 36" Oliver bandsaw into a new spot, while tipping it to get it under a garage door. I tipped it a litte far, boy that beast is heavy. Luckily a couple other guys were around, and saved me from dropping it on myself. Guess I'm to old too.
We will at some time all be too old.
