I own 2 of these saws. They are turely incredible. I’ve owned and operated Powermatic, Delta, J-Line, General, and similar cabinet saws in the same price range. The INCA did cost more yes. But this was off-set by the fact that it’s standard fence, annodized table that NEVER warps table, trunnions (that go straight up, not thru an arc), 100% dust collector system ,table height indicator, perfect throat plate (did I say perfect), blade angle indicator that does not require sliding “T” bevel to check, was better than competitors in the nearly the same price market. By the time you set-up a competitor to do the same thing with aftermarket stuff, you are still lacking the out of box INCA and “out of pocket money” because competoitors don’t offer the same features as INCA. I have used fences by Beisemer, Vega, Excaliber, Mule, and some product (can’t remember the name) that use cable in an “X” to keep the fence parallel while moving the fence. None of the aftermarket fences has the user friendly features of the INCA. Rip formica, MDF with an overhang of high pressure laminate and then swith in 2 seconds to left of blade and right of blade 50″ thru the ingenious dovetail slides of the fence rails. You can even re-calibrate the fence magnified viewer for left of blade or right of blade in about 1/2 second. Auxillary fences to the rip fence are added by “T” slot rails. Try that with a crap”ola competitor aftermarket fence. Slide the fence towards you if you want to and end your rips just slightly past the center of blade for burn free rips that are right o
One of my INCA has the optional mortising attachemtent Way nice. I’ve not seen a later an after market “X” an “Y” axis single purpose slot mortiser that is better. Ther bits they sold were better too! I also bought their expensive extension table for router table. This was my only mistake, could have made that extension myself but it’s annodized aluminum and I love it!
Their tendon cutting attachment that fits into “T” slot anodized aluminum is incredibly accurate. Lube that slot with their graphtie/wax combo to friction free eligance. Kitty (mfg) used to call and sell it as Kitty speed. It’s the best lube for aluminum that has been milled to close tolerances. The tendon jig has stops for both sides of the cheek cut. Takes only seconds to set up the tendon jig to fit the mortise perfect. No other company,in this price range, sells this kind of quality. I have had lots of experiences pals use this machine during visits to my shop and they leave saying, “This is the most user-friendly table saw I’ve ever used”
The only thing I can think to say negative about this wonderfoul table saw is, the numbers cast into the miter gauge were so close together that it requires a sliding “T” bevel to set it. I instead rely of draftsmen triangle to set the miter gauge. The standard miter gauge is still nice cause it has the feature of allowing the user to slide the suppot fence to 1/16″ of the first tooth of the blade when cutting. Any angle can be accomodated.
Any extra cost for the INCA 2100 is a small price to pay for all the paychecks it put on my kitchen table over the past 30 years.
I really don’t know why this Swiss quality is no longer made or sold? Please tell me why? I did my research before buying and have never regretted it.
By the way, my research told me of better products, but they were triple the INCA. Best value now days, go to E-Bay, and bid high. You will get a bargain.
TIA,
Don

I owned an Inca 259 for a while but sold it due to the tilting table design. That being said it was one of the best built tools I've run across. I saved the mortising table and now use a router with it and it does work great.
I have never seen or heard of an Inca 2100/2200 for sale used. If one were available I would be all over it.
BTW I currently have three Inca mortising bits on Ebay.
