I’m looking at purchasing a 3 year old Inca Model 710 Band Saw. I’m interested in feedback good and bad as well as any comments on spare parts, etc. since Inca no longer seems to be in business. The price is about $1000 and I’m wondering if I wouldn’t be better off buying new at that price. However, I’m impressed with the quality, features, etc. so it might be hard to pass up. Any help will be appreciated.

Porsche 356C of bandsaws, however I wouldn't want to drive it to work everyday. Get a truck.
I have owned INCA machines for 20 years and i think they always were a "cut above the rest" Jesse at Eagle Tools in Los Angeles has been able to supply me with the few parts that I have needed over the years. I believe I have seen the 710 on ebay for less than a $1000.00. hope that helps
I'd look at the Rikon for $1,000. Parts and service are good. Inca parts are very scarce if at all. I've been fixing tools for years and find the Inca to be a bit on the flimsy side. Of course after using real industrial machines this is the basis of my opinion. We had the 710 in my college woodshop course and I was not impressed. Ask if anyone who has one has any experience with industrial tools.
