I’m trying to find tires for my old ten-inch Inca bandsaw. Anyone know where i might find them?

Do you know anything about this outfit?I looked at the link, and there really isn't specific information available -- except that they claim to be stocking parts for Inca machines. And I wonder if that includes those which were sold in the US.Unless you know anything more, I will probably just email them to see what they can tell me. I have two Inca machines -- the jointer/planer and the 10" BS -- and I would be tickled pink if I could keep them operating (until I'm not operating, if you know what I mean <G>).********************************************************

Contact Jesse @ Eagle Tools. He has some maintenance parts for INCA.http://www.eagle-tools.com/
Inca made really great machines way back. They were made in Switzerland at that time, not France. The little jointer/planer combo machine had a Tersa head, their table saw had a tilting table and optional side mortising attachment that was great! Then..........GONE into thin air forever.Garrett Wade was a distributor, no longer. And the web site for Inca has been like that for years...under construction.Too bad.
Check out the yahoo inca tools group. (I know how you love brand name users groups.;)) Some of the people there had contacted this outfit. There's also another one in Germany - http://www.doebeli.ch/v1.x/index.html - but no one from here gets a response. Anyway I think several people have successfully purchased parts from the French company that purchased the name, but don't quote me on that.
You and I talked about this about two years ago here on Knots. I did file away the info I got from you at the time, but fortunately, I have not needed it, since my two Inca machines are purring along nicely. Didn't know about the Inca group on Yahoo, but i will try to track them down. Many thanks.********************************************************
