With all the complaining I run across concerning customer service I thought I’d post something on the positive side. About a year ago I purchased the Incra 2000 miter gauge from Woodcraft. At the time I was completely new to woodworking so I didn’t really know what to look for. When I got to using it I found the stop was not terribly useful and at one point a slight shop mishap broke both the nylon set screws on it. I wrote to Incra to ask how much replacements would cost but they were sent out that same day at no charge. After that I set the stop aside because it was not working very well for me and I just used a clamped block of wood. Last week I pulled the stop out again and looked at it once more. With my year of experience I was able to clearly see that the problem was a missing vertical extrusion – all I had been using for the stop was a round horizontal bar that is obviously marginally useful. I wrote to incra asking what the cost of the bar would be since it has been around a year now and I also had a broken scale. Incra customer service is sending both a replacement scale and the vertical extrusion to me at no charge. I don’t know how I could be more pleased with their customer service. I just wanted to give them a public kudo.
Be safe,
Ken

Bravo! I think it's important to publicize positive feedback about companies. Dontcha just love it when you have a tool that outstrips your ability to evaluate it?! LOL.
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
I have most of their products because I have had the same response continually from them on the smallest item.
I make it a point to go by Woodpecker stall at the wood shows (a major distributor of Incra)
They have taken products apart and given me what I need. Or the take my name and the part arrives free within a week.
I have their fancy fence, router lift, table saw router extension etc.
