Any tricks on installing metal slides (250 lbs capacity) using two hands. Found installing slides on cabinet (w/ Kreg jib OK) but had to recruit by friend and wife’s hands (same person) to install drawers. Very challenging but we got it done.

I have found Kregs spinnaker handier than their jib.
First time posting - next time I'll more carefully (reread 10 times and use spell check). Thanks for your time.
It was a cheap shot but I just could'nt resist. Wish I had a useful tip for you but the only guides I have installed that were that beefy were on a computer rack cabinet and I needed as many hands as you did but only had room for mine in the cabinet. I'm sure the dog learned some new words that day.P.S. Don't sweat the typos we all do it, it's just not often that one makes such a tempting target!Since the house is on fire let us warm ourselves. ~Italian Proverb

The 130% genoa was a handfull !
How do you say it in italian ? "Se la casa è in fuoco riscaldiamoci" ?C.
When I'm building a cabinet with drawers, I leave the back off until after I've done the stain and finish work. This makes it much easier to spray - and it makes installing drawer gildes MUCH easier.
I usually clamp temporary supports to the carcass and rest the glides on them. I work from the top down cutting the supports to the next smaller length as I go. Having clear access from the back makes the job a breeze.
Make some temporary supports from a couple of pieces of scrap plywood (rectangles large enough to sit on the bottom of your cabinet). Cut them tall enough for the top set of slides then trim them to support the next lower set of slides (if any) - and repeat.
