Installing mirrored glass in a cabinet
I’m building an open cabinet with a face frame, 3 glass shelves, with a mirror attached to the back. I have never worked with plate and mirrored glass and I am looking for the best way to :
a.) Attach the mirror glass to the 1/4″ plywood cabinet back.
b.) Place the 3 glass shelves so that they are fixed instead of adjustable, and can be replaced if they were to break on down the road.
Thanks!

Personally, I'd install the mirror into a rabbet along with the ply back. Then no glue is required. If that isn't feasible, use mirror mastic. Your mirror/glass supplier can best advise on that.
The shelves can be inserted into dados in the sides. Mill one side double the depth required to hold up the shelf. Goosh some silicon adhesive into the shallow dado, slip the shelf fully into the other (deep) dado, align the shelf with the shallow dado and insert. If the shelf breaks it will be an easy matter to clean out the cured silicon and residual glass.
Thanks Sapwood!
I'm thinking the plywood and mirror are held into the rabbet with some sort of clips that can either be removed or turned 90 degrees to allow removal. Any suggestions are welcomed.

On the back of the rabbet be sure to paint or color it black so that the inside of the rabbet is not reflected in the mirror.
You might want to put the mirror into a frame in case it breaks & needs replacement
