Does anyone know anything about Internetlumber.com or have they done any business with them?. I live in Central Illinois and they seem to have some very good prices on some species of lumber. Even with Shipping they are lower on some species. They are out of Winston-Salem North Carolina. Any information would be appreciated. Thank You

I have my first order with them placed right now. I just emailed them to find out the shipping status. I will let you know what the wood looks like when it comes in. I have done business with Niagara & Woodworkers source in the past with success. As far as doing business with internet lumber it was very convenient. All of the places around here that sell hardwoods are closed weekends and for me to get by durring the week is not easy.
Thanks for the reply-- I'll keep watch here until I hear from you. I have a FedEx Terminal in my hometown and a terminal for their truck freight about 30 miles away so picking up a load there will save some money on shipping.
I ordered 100bf of Mahogany from them this summer. It came right on time and the driver even helped me unload the bundle from the truck (he said that there was a note from the company to help me). The wood was very beautiful and had a lot of very wide pieces (12" plus). I'm now working on a crib after I finished the cradle (our daughter was born last week). Good luck!

Thanks for the info it helps a lot-- and Congratulations on your Daughter
Got my lumber yesterday. I rcvd 100' feet of oak and 100' of walnut. The wood is good looking and should work out great for the projects I have in mind. The boards are all at least 6" wide and almost all are 8' long. The only thing about my order that makes me unhappy is that I ordered rough lumber and rcvd s2s that is planed to 13/16. I emailed the guy at internet lumber and he said that if any of it is not parallel then they will send me replacements. Good luck with your decision - Despite the error I will probably order from them again.
How did they ship it, and what was it packaged like? Did you pay shipping on 200'? Was it very expensive? Thanks for the info.

It was metal banded to a pallet and delivered by Watkins trucking. The freight was $160 to Nevada.
Depending on where you are in Central IL, there are some good hardwood mills around here. I live near Peoria, and have a great source for lumber in the area. Let me know if you need anything native to here.

I live about 45 minutes away. In Logan County. I have access to Pekin Hardwoods in Bloomington and Pekin. Internet luumber beats their price on some woods. Do you have a supply source other then Pekin Hardwoods. I would be interested. Thanks
