Any one have any experince or knowledge on the Pro-Tech thickness planer/ iI have use for on but dont want to spend alot on one. I dont reallly need one but NEED has nothing to do with it.

I don't know anything about the ProTech, but if it's in the $200 range or higher, I think you'd be better off with a Delta TP300/TP305, Ryobi AP1300, or better yet Delta TP400, Ridgid or DeWalt. These are just known entities to me where the ProTech is not....which may give some indication of resale value and parts availability too. The best two features on any planer IMO are a cutterhead lock and a dust chute.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it was in the 200.00 range maybe alittle higher I looked at it again today and probally will go with the Delta 400 model 279.00 with stand on sale. tThank You again.
