Patrick has been applying his skills to mitre joints in an interesting and novel way.
I think there is a bit more take-home for woodworkers in this video than in the previous one as most of us will use mitres but few will use end-grain joints of other types.
Again, more interesting to know than world-shattering, but if you have not subscribed to this excellent series already, then you probably ought to give it serious consideration. It’s not often a single video shakes the world of woodworking quite so vigorously after all.

One again the results are misleading
You can "prove" just about anything you want to with some simple testing. These 'myths" as he likes to call them may be busted in isolation only but have no real world impact. None of this information that seems to be new to some, will change joinery one little bit. We still build using the capabilities and limitations of wood and use adhesives as insurance only.
