Has anyone ever received a copy of this catalogue? I have a bandsaw in need of replacement parts. Having heard and read much fanfare about ths company I called, left my cc number for the $5.00 charge, and waited. And waited, waited, waited…I called twice and was told they were a little behind filling catalogue requests, however, three months and waiting is ridiculous. Guess I will buy replacement parts locally. I just don’t understand how if a company decides to forgo a web-site, in favour of a more traditional catalogue sales approach, how they can stay in business.
Had the same problem with Lie Nielsen tools, couldn’t get a catalogue after several emails and calls. I’ve seen the Lie Nielsen at woodworking shows, however, refuse to buy anything based on principle alone.

others may chime in with better info. The first time I requested one, it took about 7 months. I had given up. As I understand it, they wait until they have updated their catalog instead of sending out the old one, so if you request one within the window of time they are working on the new one, you will be waiting. It was worth the wait, I must say.
I got their first catalog and waited 9-10 months if I recall. There was an article in one of the WW mags about their products before they were really ready to open their doors for business. They were swamped for catalog requests which they didn't have completed yet. IIRC in the midst of that, they had a hard drive crash with their only copy and had to recreate much of it all over again. Kompooter litturcy aint zackly their strong point I spoze - which is why they still dont have a website, tho I've heard on other posts that they're close to having something up and running.
If you build it he will come.
I received my first one in about two weeks, but that was a couple years ago. It is the BEST catalog there is, more like the manual on 14” bandsaws, not something that would easily translate to the web. My 1985 vintage Delta is twice the saw after tuning it up with their stuff. Their service is not the best but the quality of the components is worth the wait.
I never had a problem with L-N, best customer service I have had along with Lee Valley, I find that odd. You are really missing out on some great tools just to stand on principle, too bad.

The problem is that there are lots of folks (me) that have ordered the fabled catalog, but have never seen it. I ordered mine several times, and called twice to check on it - it'll be out "soon".

If you happen to order a catalog when they're gearing up for a new one, it can take a long time. This is a family-run business, not geared very well for the amount of publicity they get, and the whole catalog thing seems to cause them problems.
I have their 2005 catalog, things won't change alot for 2007, probably. If I can help in any way, click on my name and drop me an email.
Thanks for the response and the generous offer. I guess I will just purchase the required parts locally and get the bandsaw in better running condition. As I understand the situation, I may get a catalogue eventually, however, no telling when so I won't hold off purchasing new guides, tension spring, tires etc. Thanks you again for the responses, I appreciate your time.

Iturra can take a long time to get you a catalog. It's got some decent stuff as well as a lot of J.C. Whitney style customizations, but it's hardly essential. The section on 14" band saws old and new is worth a read. I believe I heard the latest catalog is out, but a long wait is not uncommon.
I find Lie-Nielsen puts out very few catalogs, but their website is excellent and you can order online. It's http://www.lie-nielsen.com/

The download link works well. It at least gives you something to read while you wait for one to be sent to you.
Catalog
The link to download the catalog no longer works.
By any chance might you have a working link ??
Thanks so much!
