I wish I had that idea, and maybe a patent to go with it.

Oh hell....I made one of those for myself 2-3 years ago.
What Boardman said. Some time ago, the metal plate fell off my phone and I took some bird's eye and made a replacement and impressed some folks.
Problem was I had to exchange my phone/provider shortly thereafter. I'd suspect Miniot will have a hard time keeping up with the different phone models.
I guess if you can afford the iPhone you can also afford the iWood? My el-cheapo work phone has a custom duct tape cover, mostly to hold it together from being dropped so many times.
