Does anyone have a good formula for how much japan drier to use with tung oil to speed up the drying time? The can references so many ounces of drier with a gallon of paint or varnish, but for small projects is there a formula for how many drops per ounce of oil? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Geoff

Geoff, I have used Japan driers with both Watco and Tung oil, just a couple of drops per cup or so. Seems to work well.
Did you have trouble finding Japan Drier?
Jim
Thanks for the tip. I found the japan drier at my local Rockler woodworking store in pint cans so I should be set for life. Thanks again. Geoff
