I’m looking for some parts for my older Jet bandsaw. These parts are cast iron & the previous owner was a little rough on the saw. Little bit of history of this saw:
This saw was purchased new at a topper shop where my Dad worked when I was a little kid. Several years later the shop was sold to a local competitor, & the saw went to the new shop. Fast forward several years, the competitor closed for retirement, & my Dad bought the saw. Fast forward a few more years, I bought the saw from my Dad, but later sold it to a local contractor. Now, 5yrs later, I own the saw again.
But, I need the upper hinge block, & a lower blade guide.
I have found the lower guide, but would like an original if anybody has one, & the wheel tilt arm is busted on my upper hinge

These saws, and a billion others, are all clones of the original Delta. Mostly, they have different paint and labels. I'd be pretty confident that a non-Jet part would work as well as one from Jet.
^^^ What John said.
I believe your JBS-14MW (Jet Band Saw 14 inch Metal & Wood) has no hinges on the wheel covers - am I right? If so, this Harbor Freight bandsaw should look familiar to you.
If you take the broken part to Harbor Freight, you can compare it to the same part on the display bandsaw and see if they are identical.
You are correct, it does not have hinges on the wheel guards. I will check it out, thanks
Carter makes replacement guides for most Jet bandsaws and at least in the case of my saw were far superior to the originals which actually were pretty bad. ereplacement parts might have original Jet parts for your saw.
