Can anyone give me some info about Jet woodworking machines.
I am looking at a free standing planer to plane 12″ stock.
Over in the UK these fit the price range without breaking the bank but the reliability aftersales etc seem to be an unknown quantity.
The model is JPM-13 CSX 330mm.
Would appreciate comments before I shell out any money!!!!!

I have had the 13" planer / moulder and the 6" jointer for about four years now and have been happy with both of them. I am a hobby woodworker, but have used both of the machines a fair amount. No repair issues at all, just knife replacement, etc. Looking back, I wish I had a bigger (wider) version of both machines, but I think that's pretty typical. At the time, my budget dictated what I bought. Actually, it still does.
