It's actually quite good in my opinion as one who has been making jigs in the commercial woodworking world for 30 years. Still found some info that was useful. I thought it was out of print by now.

It must be a new version then, the pub date is 2006 and shows as a first printing.

It's a "Must-have."

I never pass up the opportunity to flip through a jigs and fixtures book. There is always something new to learn.

I got it recently and have made and used a few different ones. The jigs all did what they were supposed to, so I guess that it was money well spent.
I like Nick Engler's book "Making jigs and fixtures (The workshop companion)" It gives a good rundown and guidelines on how to make your own as well as some project jigs. i would however stay away from RJ DeChristiforo's book "Jigs and Fixtures Bible" (or something similar). It seems to be more of a retrospectrive on his career than about jigs. Just my opinion.
Santa gave a copy for Xmas ( I just happened to mention the title to her). It is very well written and particularly well illustrated.
I am about 90% through the book and have not yet seen anything that makes me want to run to the shop and make one - BUT, I have a much better CONCEPT of fixtures and as a result, I designed one for a tough mortise task based on the concepts offered in the book.
I think it belongs in your library.
