I was given a #4 (size only) plane recently.  I can’t find enough information on the plane to know what I have.   It is about the same size as a # 4 Bailey.  The only inscription I can find is on the plane iron.  It has a stamp on it “Defiance) and what appears to be a logo inscription.  The only thing on the body is just behind the knob.  It says “made in usa”.  Can anyone tell me what I may have?  I cleaned it up, adjusted it, and sharpened the iron and it works well.
