Any one had any experience with Jointech’s digital router lift?
Have a Rockler set up now, but there is a lot of slack in the adjustment and the digital read out dosen’t always seem to be exact.

I happened to win one of the Jointech digital lifts from Popwood. I've had it for about 8 months now and here's my eval:
The digital readout is great and I've found it to be very accurate, as long as you zero out your bit. Fine tuning your bit height is nice, though I have had it slip a couple of thousanths down when using a lock miter bit, seems to be the only one that gives me that problem.
The lift is kind of a pain cranking up and down for bit changes as it is fairly slow, and tight to turn.
I have had no problem with dust in the mechanism, it doesn't affect the lift as far as I can tell, though I do have a dust collection box underneath the entire assembly I only use a sears shopvac for dust collection.
The plate was a pain to level out on the table, I even have one of Jointechs 24X36 tables with their smart fence, which I REALLY like.
The display has a Lexan cover to protect it but it sets down about 1/64 below the table, and I have had wood catch on it, no damage to the display but messed up my cut.
I still think it's somewhat overpriced, but who am I to complain, mine was free.
